Semi-Chromatic

These pieces are some of the most complicated ones to make. Some having over 200 edits. These photos are made to accentuate the center of the image, while getting rid of the outer edges. The black and white photos are made by brightening the edges of the photo, while removing the color slowly. The images that do have color are made very similar to the black and white images, but they have one or more additional images double exposures over top of the black parts of the image. Sometimes the original image is layered over the black and white image to create a semi-chromatic version of the original photo. These images are meant to focus on the shape and the design of what is in the photo. Design is often forgotten in the presence of color, so I removed the color to let the shape take the spotlight.
